Serving the Rogue Valley
RVSC brings together handlers from the surrounding area so working dog teams do not have to train alone.
RVSC serves Rogue Valley working dog handlers through Medford-based IGP club training.
Rogue Valley Schutzhund Club exists so local handlers have a place to learn IGP with structure and accountability. The club meets in Medford and serves handlers throughout the Rogue Valley who are interested in tracking, obedience and protection sport work.
Schutzhund is demanding because it evaluates the whole team. Dogs need drive, confidence and stability. Handlers need patience, timing and a willingness to train consistently under club standards.
RVSC brings together handlers from the surrounding area so working dog teams do not have to train alone.
Tracking, obedience and protection are connected through communication, clarity and the relationship between dog and handler.
The club promotes responsible working dog training where control, temperament and safe handling are taken seriously.
The club meets in Medford, Oregon. Handlers from across the Rogue Valley can contact the club about visiting.
Some handlers may focus on specific phases, but protection work requires the right dog, handler commitment and club evaluation.
IGP requires feedback, helpers, distractions, standards and safe structure. A club environment gives handlers a clearer path.
Contact the club before coming out so we can point you in the right direction and help you understand what to bring.
