Trial days bring the work together.
A Schutzhund trial is where months of training are evaluated under formal conditions. The dog-and-handler team must demonstrate tracking, obedience and protection with control, confidence and consistency.
The photographs on this page preserve more than the exercises themselves. They also show the club community around the trial—the helpers, handlers, dogs and shared time that have kept working-dog sport active in Southern Oregon.
